Sustainable Fashion (what does that mean?)
Share
Fast fashion has taken over, but not necessarily for the good. Not only does so much fabric get thrown away, creating deadstock, but it creates so much landfill and pollutes the air, by 87%. Only 1% of all discarded clothing is actually recycled, and most donated items, (up to 75%) are not sold in thrift stores. Fast fashion also exploits its workers, only paying less than 2% earning a liveable wage, with unsafe working conditions. Our goal is to help reduce this, but create adorable items as well! Win-Win!
